Writings On The Walls

Heather and I ventured out to see Twilight this afternoon... I went in with low expectations as I had seen trailers and interviews with some of the cast from the movie... I didn't think my expectations could have been any lower and yet I still felt super disappointed. Did the person that made the movie even read the book? Were there no viable or available good actors for this movie? Kristen Stewart?? Really? She should never get another movie again as a main actress... supporting roles may be ok but not a leading role... she huffed and puffed her way through each scene refusing to smile once....I dont know how the author was even ok with this version of the book. I would be interested to hear what people who had not read the book thought of this movie...
The story was not developed at all, you did not get to know the characters... The people making the movie should have gone in an epic type direction... They should have made the movie 2 and half/3 hour movie to develop characters and allow the audience to get to know each person since there will be a sequel to this sad production...I know fans would have gone for a 3 hour movie knowing that it was done well and developed more...
So highly disappointed... if you must see this movie, rent it...
