Build God, Then We'll Talk
11:58 AM Edit This 0 Comments »Heather and I went to the Rock Band Tour show last night at Arco Arena. This included The Cab (which we did not see) Plain White Tees, Dashboard Confessional, and Panic at the Disco.
The show was fun, the sound was a little off just because of the acoustics set up in the arena. Heather and I were definitely minorities at the show. There was a lot of same sex couples at the show. That did not bother me... what did bother me was a group of people that were walking around the show completely not interested in the music and making fun of different people... That was so innappropriate in my opinion. They were going to the extent of mocking and taking pictures of the couples behind their backs... This saddened me, how can people be so obviously ignorant and rude. I may not agree with people's actions but I would not go to a point of publicly mocking someone. People SERIOUSLY leave people alone... like thumper says if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all.. this includes your actions!
Back to the concert, each of the bands were entertaining... Plain White Tees have some cheesy songs but nevertheless it was fun. Dashboard was great as always :) I was a little bit bummed that they did not play REmember to Breath... That is the best song live! Panic at the Disco was a lot of fun. I hadn't seen them before. I would totally see them again. They ended with You Make ME Want to SHOUT and that was a crowd pleaser for sure... It seemed like most people knew their first album more then the second one... :)
Despite the actions of others around us, it was a fun evening :)
