Writings On The Walls

My sister moved into her new apartment this weekend... Despite the frustrations of having no such order in the move, there was something exciting about starting new... There was a blank layout to work with and create a new personality to the rooms...
It made me wonder if re creating yourself is a good thing or if you should continue moving in the same direction...
I think it's healthy to update in certain areas on occassion... I'm not saying switching out spouses or children or anything along those lines but looking at yourself and seeing if you are living out the areas you are passionate about... I really love music and find myself consumed by different thoughts of how I can incorporate it in my life... While I'm no musician and have no means to be one, I wonder what can i do with it... Pastor Rick Warren said if you're not doing something your passionate about (as far as work goes) quit... why spend 8 hours doing something you're not passionate? We only have one life... why waste a moment of it?
So my conclusion is to do something every day that I have a passion for... This may not be a huge epiphany by any means but it's something I am going to strive to do... I'm going to live with a new passion...
I want to be known for being a person that had her own thoughts and beliefs and follow through on both... Not someone that is swayed by a majority or the latest and greatest...
I encourage everyone to try it... Be your own person... Be bold and beautiful to others...
