Writings On The Walls

Yesterday (April 11) we dedicated Spencer at FBC with a group of other parents and their children. It was such a neat moment for us. Pastor Snyder did the dedication. He asked us four questions as parents:
1. Do you recognize your child as a gift of God, and give heartfelt thanks for God's blessing?
2. Do you pledge as parents that you will bring up your children in the training and
instruction of the Lord?
3. Do you promise with God's help to provide a home in which the love of Christ is taught and modeled?
4. Do you here today acknowledge your need for God's strength and guidance in bringing up your children?

Joel and I are so blessed to be Spencer's parents. It's an adventure and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
